CAN PURPOSE OF FAITH DENIERS BE SAVED?

CAN PURPOSE OF FAITH DENIERS BE SAVED?

Is it possible to have faith in Jesus but deny the purpose of faith and still be saved?

John 8:22-24.....24 'Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for unless you believe that I am He, you will die in your sins."

Jesus told certain Jews that unless they believed that He was the Son of God that they would die in their sins. The question remains, if the Jews said "We believe you are the Son of God, however, that is not essential to the forgiveness of sins;" would their sins still be forgiven? CAN YOU DENY THE PURPOSE OF FAITH AND STILL HAVE YOUR SINS FORGIVEN?

John 3:16 "For God so loved the world, that He gave His only Son, that whoever believes in Him shall perish, but have eternal life.

Is it reasonable to assume that men can say, "We believe that Jesus is God's Son and the Savior of the world, however, that has nothing to do with us receiving eternal life," and that they will still be saved? CAN MEN DENY THE PURPOSE OF FAITH AND STILL RECEIVE ETERNAL LIFE?

Acts 16:29-31 And he called for lights and rushed in, and trembling with fear he fell down before Paul and Silas, 30 and said "Sirs, what must I do to be saved?" 31 They said, "Believe in the Lord Jesus, and you will be saved, you and your household."

If the Jailer had told Paul and Silas that he would believe as an act of obedience and a testimony of his faith, but that believing had nothing to do with his salvation; would the jailer have been saved? CAN MEN DENY THE PURPOSE OF BELIEVING IN THE LORD JESUS AND STILL BE SAVED?

CAN THE PURPOSE OF WATER BAPTISM DENIERS BE SAVED?

Is logical to assume you can be baptized in water, but deny its purpose and still be saved?

Acts 2:38 Peter said to them, "Repent and be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the forgiveness of your sins; and you will receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.

What are the probabilities that if the three thousand on the Day of Pentecost had told Peter, "We will be baptized, however, it is not in order to have our sins forgiven," would their sins still be forgiven? CAN MEN DENY THE PURPOSE OF WATER BAPTISM AND STILL HAVE THEIR SINS FORGIVEN.

Acts 22:12-16....16 Now why do you delay? Get up and be baptized, and wash away your sins, calling on His name!

What if Saul had told Ananias, "I had my sins washed away on the road to Damascus, but I will be baptized as an act of obedience and as a testimony of my faith," would Saul's sins have been washed away? CAN MEN DENY THE PURPOSE OF WATER BAPTISM AND STILL HAVE THEIR SINS FORGIVEN?

Ephesians 5:25-27... just as Christ loved the church gave Himself up for her, 26 so that He might sanctify her, having cleansed her by the washing of water with the word, 27 that He might present to Himself the church in all her glory, having no spot or wrinkle or any such thing; but that she would be holy and blameless.

What if men were to say that Christ washed the church with water, however, it had nothing to do with, sanctifying her, cleansing her, making her spotless, or rendering her holy and blameless? CAN MEN DENY THE PURPOSE OF WATER BAPTISM AND STILL RECEIVED ITS BENEFITS?

1 Peter 3:20-21 ....safely through the water. 21 Corresponding to that, baptism now saves you....

Is it plausible for men to proclaim that they were baptized in water, but it played no part in their salvation? Can they still be saved? CAN MEN DENY THE PURPOSE OF WATER BAPTISM AND STILL BE SAVED?

IS IT POSSIBLE FOR MEN TO DENY THE PURPOSE OF FAITH AND WATER BAPTISM AND STILL BE SAVED?

Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved..... CAN YOU DENY THAT AND STILL BE SAVED?????

FAITH ONLY PROOF-TEXTING

FAITH ONLY PROOF-TEXTING

The proposition that Christians are saved by faith only is  supported by proof-texting. Using a select verse of Scripture to validate a doctrinal position without using all Biblical accounts is proof-texting.

EXAMPLES OF FAITH-ONLY SALVATION, PROOF-TEXTING.

1. PROOF-TEXT: Romans 4:3 For what does the Scripture say? "Abraham believed God, and it was accounted to him for righteousness."

a. Abraham was not a Christian.
b. Abraham was not saved under the New Covenant.
c. Abraham was also justified by works. (James 2:21 Was not Abraham our father justified by works when he offered Isaac his son on the altar?)
d. Abraham did not believe that Jesus was the Son of God. (John 8:24 "Therefore I said to you that you will die in your sins; for if you do not believe that I am He, you will die in your sins.") If you can be saved like Abraham, then you can be saved without believing Jesus was the Son of God.

Was Abraham saved? Yes. Can men living under the New Covenant be saved like Abraham? No, they cannot.

2. PROOF-TEXT: Luke 23:39-43.....43 And Jesus said to him, "Assuredly, I say to you, today you will be with Me in Paradise."

a. The thief on the cross was not saved under the New Covenant.
b. If you can be saved like the thief, then you can be saved without the indwelling of the Holy Spirit. (John 7:39 But this He spoke concerning the Spirit, whom those believing in Him would receive; for the Holy Spirit was not yet given, because Jesus was not yet glorified.)
c.If you can be saved like the thief, then you can be saved without believing in the resurrection of Jesus. (Romans 10:9 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved.) The thief did not believe that God had raised Jesus from the dead. Jesus was still alive when the thief was saved.
d. If you can be saved like the thief, then you can be saved without being baptized in water for the forgiveness of your sins.(Acts 2:38, Acts 22:16)

Was the thief saved? Yes. Can men living under the New Covenant be saved like the thief? No, they cannot.

3. PROOF-TEXT: John 3:16 "For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.

a. If by believing only you could be saved, then the demons could be saved.(Matthew 8:28-31 .....And suddenly they cried out, saying, "What have we to do with You, Jesus, You Son of God? Have You come here to torment us before the time?".....31....the demons......) The demons believed that Jesus was the Son of God. Faith only did not save them.
b. If believing only could save, then men would not have to confess Jesus before men to be saved. (John 12:42 Nevertheless even among the rulers many believed in Him, but because of the Pharisees they did not confess Him, lest they should be put out of the synagogue;) (Matthew 10:32-33 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father in heaven. 33 "But whoever denies Me before men, him I will also deny before My father who is in heaven.)

Believing only cannot save anyone.

SAVE BY FAITH ONLY IS A DOCTRINE OF MEN, IT IS NOT GOD'S DOCTRINE.

Men are justified by faith.(Romans 5:1) Buy not by faith only.
Men are justified by grace. (Titus 3:7) But not by grace only.
Men are justified by the blood of Christ. (Romans 5:9) But not by blood only.
Men are saved by water baptism.(1 Peter 3-21) But not by baptism only.
Men are save by confessing Jesus and believing in His resurrection. (Matthew 10:32-33, Romans 10:9-10) But not by confession only nor by believing only.
Men are saved by repentance. (Acts 2:38, Acts 3:19) But but not by repentance only.

Men living today need to be saved by the terms of the New Covenant. FAITH-John 3:16 REPENTANCE- Acts 2:38 CONFESSION Romans 10:9-10 WATER BAPTISM 1 Peter 3:21

Men can be save in two hours more or less---NO WORKS OF THE LAW OF MOSES NOR GOOD DEEDS ARE REQUIRED TO BE SAVED.

Jesus spoke to the eleven

Jesus spoke to the eleven [the apostles] after His resurrection.(Mark 16:14-16)

BIBLE TRANSLATIONS

Mark 16:16 He who has believed and has been baptized shall be saved....(NASB)
Mark 16:16 He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved...(KJV)
Mark 16:16 He who has believed, and has been immersed, will be saved....(The Better Version of The New Testament by Chester Estes)
Mark 16:16 Those who believe and are baptized will be saved.....(The Living Bible-Paraphrased)
Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be saved...(NIV)
Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved...)NKJV)
Mark 16:16 Whoever believes and is baptized will be save...(ESV)
Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptised shall be saved...(Darby English Version)
Mark 16:16 he who hath believed, and hath been baptized, shall be saved..(Young's Literal Translation)

All translations of the Bible state that belief and water baptism precede salvation.

INTERPRETATIONS OF MARK 16:16

1. He that believes is saved, and then is baptized as a testimony of his faith.
2. An unbelieving adult shall be saved is he was baptized as an infant.
3. He that believes is saved by faith only and then is baptized so he can be a member on the local church.
4. He that believes and is sprinkled or poured shall be saved.
5. He that believes is saved even if he dies before he has chance to be baptized.
6. He that has died, but has someone believe and be baptized for him shall be saved.
7. He that, believes only, shall be saved, because water baptism is not essential to salvation.
8. Water baptism is not essential to salvation; because all of the Bibles have been mistranslated.
9. Mark 16:16 has been mistranslated because God is not smart enough to lead men to translate His word accurately.
10. God will saved men if they were going to believe, but died before they had time.
11. God knows men's heart so they do not have to believe or be baptized to be saved.
12. Creed books, catechisms, Bible commentaries, and books about Bible are the infallible word of God; therefore quoting Mark 16:16 from the Bible is at best a calculated guess as to what Jesus actually meant.

WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO TRUST, THE BIBLE OR MAN-MADE INTERPRETATIONS OF THE BIBLE?

ARE INTERPRETERS OF THE BIBLE SMARTER THAN GOD? I DO NOT THINK SO!

WHAT IS THE SALVATION TIMELINE?

WHAT IS THE SALVATION TIMELINE?
How long does it take for a person to become saved? It takes as long as it takes to believe and be baptized in water.(Mark 16:16)

On the Day of Pentecost they believed and were baptized in water the same day. (Acts 2:22-38)

Cornelius, his relatives and close friends believed and were baptized in water the same day. (Acts 10:24-48)

The Ethiopian eunuch believed and was baptized in water the same day.(Acts 8:26-38)

Saul (the apostle Paul) believed and then was baptized in water three days later. (Acts 9:9 Acts 22:6-16)

The Philippian jailer and his household believed and were baptized in water the same hour. (Acts 16:25-33)

Salvation is an act of obedience. (John 3:16, Acts 2:38, Romans 10:9-10, Mark 16:16)

Salvation is not keeping the Laws of Moses nor is it the performing of good deeds.

INCLUSIVE SALVATION

Who are those who are included in salvation? All men who believe and obey what the apostle Peter preached on the Day of Pentecost are saved. It does not make any difference what denominational name is written on the church building where you worship, if you obey the gospel preached by Peter, then,  you are saved, you are a member of the Lord's church, you are part of the church of Christ, you a member of the body of Christ, you are a Christian.

What did Peter preach?
1. Peter preached that Jesus was a miracle worker. (Acts 2:22)
2. Peter preached that Jesus was resurrected from the dead by God the Father.(Acts 2:24-35)
3. Peter preached that Jesus was both Lord and Christ.(Acts 2:36)
When the three thousand believe Peter, they asked "What shall we do?"(Acts 2:37)
4. Peter told them to repent and be baptized in order to have their sins forgiven.(Acts 2:38)

This is the same message Jesus preached. (Mark 16:16 "He who believes and is baptized will be saved....)

THE TERMS FOR PARDON ARE: Faith-John 3:16, Repentance-Acts 2:38, Confession-Romans 10:9-10, Baptism (immersion in water) 1 Peter 3:21

All who meet the terms for pardon are saved regardless of the denominational name on the church building.
